Are you organised, tech-savvy, and ready to make a difference? We’re looking for a Business Support Officer to join our fast-paced team supporting children and families across Telford and Wrekin.

The Business Support Officer will provide vital administrative and organisational support to front line social care teams. Key aspects of the role include accurate record-keeping, managing inboxes and workflows, supporting statutory and operational processes, minute taking, handling sensitive information appropriately, and ensuring tasks are completed within required timescales. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Provide top-tier admin support to frontline teams in Children’s Safeguarding, Family Support, and Education & Skills.
  • Minute meetings, manage data, and handle sensitive information with confidence.
  • Collaborate with professionals across services and help drive continuous improvement.

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft 365, databases, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and time management
  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
